How to Live (& Write) Creatively - 5 Module Class
A self-paced 5-module course on the joys of self-exploration and expression.
Everyone who thinks they are an artist is right.
Let me take you on a journey through the creative process from ideation to revision. Each of these five modules contains inspiration, instruction, and application tips, but it goes far beyond the practice of writing; in fact, the essence of the course lies in self-exploration, and revelling in the deep knowing that you are an inherently creative being - an artist in your own right. Once you invite creativity into your work, your home, and your way of moving through the world, strange, beautiful new paths will appear before you.
This is your invitation to see where they lead.

Downdogs and Daydreams Visonboard Workshop (up to 15 people)
After we spend some time getting centered on our mats through a vinyasa flow, we will shift our energy to creating art that reflects our deepest dreams.
All supplies provided.
Soulscape Deck
This is, essentially, a 32 card poem deck co-created with artist Janie Walland. This Soulscape Deck was inspired by my extensive travels, both around the globe and internally within. Each card has an affirmation paired with an illustration. There are enough cards to choose one a day for a month, plus a bonus card (because, duh, we like to go big). Also, in numerology the number 32 is associated with adventure, creativity, freedom, and teamwork. We liked that!
Sacred Spaces Gathering (up to 15 people)
In this workshop we discuss what it means to have a sacred space and how to get started creating your own.
We also make a collective ‘art piece’ for you to take home.
What to Bring:
1) Something you hold sacred (a picture of a loved one, a piece of jewelry, a poem, etc.)
2) A piece of fabric you feel an affinity to but don’t mind parting with (an old bedsheet, shirt, curtain, tablecloth, etc.)
Explore Your Story: A Word and Movement Workshop (up to 15 people)
Our identities are wrapped up in stories – the ones we tell, the ones we create, and the ones we rewrite and revise. There is a power in claiming, and sharing one’s story.
As part of this special workshop, we explore how yoga and writing mirror one another, and the meaning-making that can result from the practice of both. Through a creative writing exercise, we will honor the past, revel in our current realities, and manifest the dreams we have for our futures. This will be followed by a yoga sequence that focuses on unlocking our creativity and overcoming mental blocks, a reflection on the process, and an opportunity to share.
No previous yoga or writing experience required.
